Privacy Policy

This page describes how Landscaping.TV ("we," "us," "our") handles personal information when you visit landscaping.tv or submit an offer to acquire the domain. We aim to collect as little data as possible, and we do not sell any personal information at any time, to any party. This policy is written to align with the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA") and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

1. Who we are

Landscaping.TV is operated by a private individual (the "Owner") in the State of California, United States. For privacy enquiries, the Owner is the data controller for all personal information handled through this site. Contact: offers@landscaping.tv.

2. What we collect

This site is intentionally minimal. We collect only the following categories of personal information:

  • Offer submissions. When you use the offer form, your email client opens with the information you typed (name, company, email, role, offer amount, timeline, notes) addressed to offers@landscaping.tv. We receive that email in the same way we would receive any other email. We do not run a server‑side form processor that stores submissions on this site.
  • Email correspondence. If you contact us by email, we retain the messages and any attached information you choose to share.
  • Server logs. The hosting platform (Cloudflare Pages) records standard access logs — IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp — for security and operational purposes. We do not analyse these for advertising or marketing.

We do not use cookies, third‑party analytics, advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or remarketing pixels on landscaping.tv.

3. Why we collect it (legal bases under GDPR)

  • Offer review and reply — to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest in evaluating offers; performance of pre‑contractual steps at your request.
  • Security and abuse prevention — to keep the site online and protect against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in network security.
  • Legal compliance — if law requires us to retain or disclose information. Legal basis: legal obligation.

4. How long we keep it

Offer correspondence is retained for as long as the domain remains in the Owner's possession plus one year, after which it is deleted unless a transaction is in progress. Server logs are retained per Cloudflare's standard retention windows (typically 30 days). You may at any time ask us to delete correspondence about you — see Section 7.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone. We share only what is necessary, only with:

  • Our email provider, which transmits and stores email on our behalf.
  • Our hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.), which serves this website.
  • The escrow service (Escrow.com or a comparable accredited agent) chosen by the buyer at the transaction stage. Only data necessary to complete the transfer is shared, and only after an offer has been accepted in principle.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, only where required by valid legal process.

6. Your rights under CCPA / CPRA (California residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we have collected and how we use them (this policy answers that).
  • The right to access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to delete personal information, subject to legal retention exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect any).
  • The right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may confirm that status by writing to us.
  • The right to non‑discrimination for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email offers@landscaping.tv with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days, the period set by CCPA/CPRA.

7. Your rights under GDPR (EU/UK residents)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection in respect of personal data we hold about you, as set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR (or the UK GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, though we would appreciate the chance to address concerns first. To exercise any GDPR right, email offers@landscaping.tv.

8. International transfers

The Owner is in the United States. Cloudflare's network is global. By submitting an inquiry from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

9. Security

We use HTTPS site‑wide, hold no payment information, and store offer correspondence in encrypted email inboxes with two‑factor authentication on access accounts. No method of internet transmission is perfectly secure; we take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults inquiring about a business transaction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16. If we learn we have inadvertently done so, we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced via the page itself; users with active correspondence will be notified by email.
